Set
Description: In keeping with
its reputation as one of the World leaders in the field
of concrete waterproofing, Penetron required a complete
redesign of its identity materials, along with print production
of a Ring binder and specifications contents, Compact Disc,
Presentation folders, Letterhead, Name Cards, Envelopes,
Packaging, Adhesive labels, Multiple brochures, advertisements,
USB stick, and other items, with some iterations in multiple
languages. This was a comprehensive project involving design,
layout and print production which took place over the course
of more than one year.
Key Challenges: Because the
company has key staff in multiple locations around the globe
and the changes made to the global identity system were
of key importance to marketing strategy, considerable consultation
was necessary before making any design or production decisions.
At the same time, old materials were running short and needed
to be replaced with new materials, in some cases before
final design decisions were made. This required a careful
balancing of production techniques and choices to support
consistency of identity and color, while incorporating new
ideas and improvements all the while.
Techniques Used: Offset Printing,
Silkscreen Printing, Saddle Stitch Binding, Ring Binding,
Case Bound Adhesive Technique, Shaped Die Cutting, 5th color
(metallic and non-metallic), Film Lamination, Varnishing,
Roll Folding, CD Mastering, Hand Assembly, Polybagging.
